Summit Entertainment

Summit Entertainment is an independent film studio, founded in 1991 by film producers Bernd Eichinger, Arnon Milchan, and Andrew Vajna. It was officially launched in 1999 by Patrick Wachsberger, Bob Hayward and David Garrett carrying the name Summit Entertainment LP. It became a fully independent film studio in 2006, having Rob Friedman in the team, a former key person at Paramount Pictures.

The studio had a series of box office bombs, but finally established success with Twilight in 2008, and was even able to beat other production studios
