First thing that I noticed - all of the Top Grossers are sequels, except The Smurfs. Mmm, what can I say? Yeah, these sequels are pretty good. Of course, Harry Potter ended with a bang. Transformers still made it without Megan Fox (people want her more though). Johnny Depp is still as good as the first three Pirates film. The first installment of the Twilight Saga finale captured the viewers. Kung Fu Panda 2, The Smurfs and Cars 2 entertained all ages. And oh, Tom Cruise still got it all for Mission Impossible 4. Nothing new for Hangover 2, but still made it to top 10. Fast Five once again got hold of its F&F reputation.
Yes, sequels dominated 2011.
